All my websites have been combined back into one site. Turns out that splitting my business into three websites was more trouble than it was helpful. Keeping up with the different order numbers and customers was giving me a headache. In everyone’s best interest I have revamped my website with a new shopping cart (OpenCart) and since I LOVED my design at My Pixel Creations so very much I adapted it to the new site.
With the new cart and new design there are also new items, new prices and new policies! First off there are 4 custom website design options ranging from $250 to $550 that are priced based on the type of website you have. You will also find lots of new pre-made templates (all priced between $50 and $75). You might also notice that I no longer work from a job calendar. When you place an order I start right then (or when I receive all of your information).

Over at MPC I’ve introduced a new product! Ready To Use Twitter Designs are now available for instant download. Spiff up your Twitter NOW at the low price of $3 per design! My Pixel Creations has had a make over! As you may already know (if you’ve read about my fabulous blog graphics) I’m a HUGE fan of Chanin of Snowflake Beach Designs. Chanin makes digital scrapbooking elements, papers, etc. and since discovering her work I’ve redone my two blogs and two of my websites! So anyway when I decided it was time to change MPC I came up with the idea of making the site a kitchen theme. I drew up the chef (suppose to look like me?) and then I contacted Chanin with my color scheme and asked her to design some papers and graphics. She did a great job as always and I am very happy with the way the site turned out. What do you think?
In honor of the new design I have also made it much easier to navigate and shop! The new, easy-to-read home page is where you’ll find links to help you get started in your next project. All Pre-Made template prices have been changed and are now either $25, $50 or $100!

Well yesterday after annouceing that all my seamless backgrounds are available for instant download, I posted that “over the next few weeks I will be making my mouse drawn graphics available as well”. Okay so it didn’t take me weeks. They are ready now I guess that’s my not-so-mild OCD coming out. Once I started I couldn’t stop until all my mouse drawn graphics were fixed and ready to download upon purchase.
Each graphic is available in five different file types.

.gif
(graphics interchange format) – Our GIF files have a transparent
background with white dither blending, meaning they blend seamlessly
with white backgrounds, but have rough edges on other colors. If you
need a special blend color please contact us.
.jpg
(or JPEG – Joint Photographic Experts Group) – JPG files are saved with
a white background and are the highest possible quality available for
JPG files. If you need another background color please contact us.
.png
(portable network graphics) – PNG files are saved with alpha-channel
transparency and opacity and blend seamlessly with all background types
and colors.
.psd (Photoshop compatible) – PSD files can be opened in Adobe Photoshop and/or Paint Shop Pro and have a transparent background.
.PspTube
(Paint Shop Pro tube file) – PSP tubes can only be used in Paint Shop
Pro. These must be saved in your PSP system tube file and will then
appear in your list of picture tubes.

Oh where oh could she be? Busy at the Pixel Studio – that’s where!! Gosh I can’t believe I’ve neglected this blog for so long!! Well NO MORE! Today has been my “blog update” day and knowing this one would take me the longest I’ve saved it for last
So what’s new? Well a better question might be “What’s NOT new?” LOL! I’ve changed so much at the Pixel Studio since I came back from my maternity leave. I’ve updated the site’s look a little and hopefully made it easier to navigate and find what you’re looking for (if you don’t think so please let me know how I can improve).
I now have an offering of over 100 pre-made templates!! I have everything from $20 shoppes upto $175 shoppes – something for every budget. Marketing designs include pens, t-shirts, hats, widow decals and car door magnets! Print designs available include business cards, hang tags, bow/post cards, note pads, letterhead, envelopes, address labels, rack cards, note cards, brochures and fliers! To my NEW blog and NEW eCommerce store!! I’m so excited to finally have this awesome WordPress blog live as well as my new Zen Cart store up and running smoothly. After much deliberation and thought I decided to move my hosting from WAHMshoppes to Swank Web Hosting. WAHMshoppes is still a great place to host a shoppe, and I would (and do) recommend them to anyone who wants an affordable e-store with a simple setup and management system. In fact it was very hard for me to make the switch! But my store and websites were outgrowing the hosting there so I felt it was time to move on and man have I ever! Swank Web Hosting gave me the perfect package for both my websites, three blogs and more! You can check out the changes and my new family blog below.
I do want to give a quick shout out and THANK you to Jen @ Swank for answering all my dumb and annoying questions while I setup my Zen Cart and to Emily for troubleshooting for me. If you ever have questions about Zen Carts contact Jen – she rocks and I have no problems referring everyone to her because I personally will never add Zen Cart setup/design to my list of services. No way, no how, no amount of money! Emily is the “hosting” guru at Swank and helped me several times when I had no clue what I was doing so of course I recommend her as well!
