Compatible Shopping Carts & CMS

I offer eCommerce templates and site design that specifically coordinate with the following hosting sites and shopping carts. If you have hosting with a similar site please contact me to inquire if it is compatible.

Basic eCommerce Shopping Carts

Basic eCommerce shopping carts are simple but hardworking carts that are perfect for selling all types of products.  They are usually integrated with PayPal and/or Mal's eCommerce.  These shopping carts all work with our Basic Website Design or any of our Pre-Made Templates.

Ultra eCommerce Carts & CMS

PHP-based Carts and website Content Management Systems (CMS) give your site a 'put-together' look and tons (and I do mean TONS) of site functionality that basic carts or hardcoding can't compeat with. We can work with almost all PHP-based carts and CMS but here is a list of software we have worked with.

These carts/CMS are not directly compatible with my pre-made templates, but we can customize any of my pre-made templates to fit your needs, just contact me to get started today!  All PHP carts and CMS programs are different. Even if your site's cart or CMS is not listed above please contact me to find out if it is compatible with my work.

Personal Experience & Notes

Having owned and operated a professional website for the last three years I have lots of experience with various shopping carts.  When I first started out in the vast land of online retail I made childrens jewelry.  I started out on eBay and soon found the fees there too high to make any profit.  I started a website and used PayPal's integrated buttons inside my own site design.  The site was 100% HTML code...it was a PAIN!

Thankfully someone soon introduced me to WAHMshoppes.  I changed to them right away and it worked well for my jewelry.  When I started designing graphics and creating websites for some of my eBay friends and groups, selling jewelry and graphics from the same website was hard and overwhelming for my customers.

I finally split off the graphics and website design to Sara*s Pixel Studio.  Using WAHMshoppes for this was very hard.  I needed a down-loadable products feature as well as more options for each product so I moved to Zen Cart.  Why?  It was free and help was readily available.  Zen Cart has a HUGE help forum as well as TONS of free cart mods (modules).  Would I recommend Zen Cart?  Yes, to anyone who likes editing PHP or doesn't mind paying to have the mods installed.

The jewelry business faded out when my design business grew so then I was just SPS.  I kept adding new services and products until the site was full, way too full.  So I took another step, installed another Zen Cart and My Pixel Prints was born.  I also split the custom website design away from my template and graphics.

Just recently I've come to regret having so many different products and services on so many different websites.  So now that I've come full circle and am back to one site for the "best of the best" products and services I chose to try OpenCart.  So far?  I love it.  Designing the site was much easier than any of the three Zen Cart designs I've done.  Simple is better.

After almost two years of going back and forth with my websites (splitting them off and putting them back together) I have learned one thing: change is good!  If you are unhappy with your website's design, functionality or anything else about it change it!  There are endless options out there.

Disclaimer

I am in no way paid or affiliated with any of the above hosting sites or shopping carts.  These links are here simply to give you a reference point and for link exchange purposes only -- Basically I make NO money from the links on this page.

I have no preference for one over the others and recommend that my customers compare rates and services to determine which shopping cart is best for them. Sites are listed randomly.

If you operate a hosting site or shopping cart software that is similar to any of the above and you have a page for designers where I might be listed please contact me to exchange links.
